Burnidge's Piece was ambient and powerful, it felt like it took place in an industrial wasteland. This piece had a cold wet atmosphere and a slow but heavy pacing. With this in mind I felt the lighting shifts should happen very slowly. I used 10 to 20 second fade times throughout this piece to match the pacing of the music. I incorporated intense side lighting to sculpt the dancers in a way that made them feel like non-human entities roaming the barren industrial wasteland.
