Bowers' piece was about overcoming struggle as a community. It felt theatrical and plot driven. It required a design that supported a story Bowers' had choreographed with a status quo, conflict and climax. I used saturate colors to explore a vivid dreamy feeling I found in the music and step based light effects to aide a spirited and dynamic concept. The most vital aspect of my design was the diagonal linear texture I found in GOBOs. This added the depth I needed to match the depth I felt in the choreography.
