Concept

Strike A Pose is a tribute to the generation of queer people that perished at the height of the AIDS epidemic. This dance is choreographed in three parts. The Photoshoot part feels industrial, sharp, jagged and stark. The Runway part feels intense, bright and loud. The Afterparty is colorful and saturate, shameless, beautiful and flashy.

Concept

"Just like wanting a cigarette is an exploration within one’s community." alma Collective says. It feels ferocious, guttural, with reckless abandon and euphoria. The house and techno music heavily inspire the lighting of this piece. Dynamic effects are used on top of dramatic angles of light to inspire club like scenes.
